Privacy & terms
Last updated: 5 October 2026
This page explains how Paid Minds looks after your information, and the terms for using this website and our free market report. We've kept it in plain English.
Privacy policy
1. Who we are
This website is run by Paid Minds, based in East Sussex, UK ("we", "us"). We decide how and why your personal information is used, which makes us the "controller" under UK data protection law. You can contact us at contact@paidminds.com.
2. What we collect, and why
When you ask for a free market report using the form on this site, you give us:
- the name of your event or launch,
- a description of what your event is about,
- your website address (optional), and
- your email address.
We use this to research your market, send you your report, and reply if you get in touch. Our lawful basis is taking steps at your request before a possible working relationship, and our legitimate interest in running and promoting our business.
When you email us (for example from the "Message us" button), we receive your email address and whatever you write, and we use it to reply.
To prepare your free report, we don't need your passwords, payment details or access to any of your accounts.
If you later become a client, we will need access to your advertising and related accounts to do the work. We'll agree how that works with you separately, and we'll only use that access for the work we've agreed.
Technical information. As with any website, your browser sends technical details such as your IP address and browser type to the servers that deliver the site. We don't use this to build profiles or to track you across other sites.
3. Who else handles your information
We use a small number of services to run the site. They only act on our instructions, except where noted.
- Web3Forms (web3forms.com) receives what you type into the report form and passes it to us by email.
- DigitalOcean hosts this website.
- Our email provider stores the emails we receive from you.
We don't sell your information, and we don't share it for advertising. Some of these providers may handle information outside the UK. We only use providers that publish their own data-protection terms.
4. Cookies
This site doesn't set cookies, and it doesn't use analytics or advertising trackers. The typefaces are hosted on our own server, so loading them doesn't pass your details to anyone else.
5. How long we keep it
We keep enquiries only for as long as we need them to deal with your request and any follow-up, and then delete them. If you'd like us to delete yours sooner, just ask.
6. Your rights
You can ask us to give you a copy of your information, correct it, delete it, restrict how we use it, or stop using it for our legitimate interests. To do any of these, email contact@paidminds.com. If you're unhappy with how we've handled your information, you can complain to the Information Commissioner's Office at ico.org.uk.
7. Changes
If we change this policy, we'll update the date at the top of this page.
Terms and conditions
1. About these terms
By using this website you agree to these terms. If you don't agree with them, please don't use the site.
2. The free market report
- The report is free. It is based on information that is publicly available and on our own analysis at the time we prepare it.
- It is for information only. It isn't financial, legal or professional advice, and we don't guarantee any result from acting on it.
- We aim to send it within three working days, but we may need longer, and we may decline a request.
- You may use it for your own business. Please don't resell or republish it without asking us first.
3. Software, automations and AI-built tools
Any software, automation, script, template or other tool that we build or supply is provided "as is", without warranty of any kind, express or implied. That includes any promise that it will be free of errors, secure, always available, or suitable for a particular purpose.
Some of what we build may be created with the help of AI tools, which can make mistakes. You are responsible for testing anything we deliver, and for checking it before you rely on it or use it in your business.
So far as the law allows, we aren't liable for any loss, damage or cost (including lost revenue, advertising spend, data or opportunity) that comes from using it, or from any fault, error or flaw in it. This doesn't limit anything we can't legally limit (see "Liability" below). If we've agreed something different with you in a written client agreement, that agreement applies instead.
4. Results shown on this site
Figures and examples on this site, such as return on ad spend or audience mix, describe past campaigns for particular clients. Results vary from one campaign to another, and past results don't guarantee future ones.
5. Client work and other people's material
Client names, logos, creative and campaigns shown on this site belong to their respective owners and are shown to illustrate work we have done. Images on this site illustrate our work and the kinds of events we promote, and don't always show a specific client or event.
6. Copyright
© 2026 Paid Minds. All rights reserved. The content we've created for this site may not be copied or reused without our written permission.
7. Liability
Nothing in these terms limits liability that can't legally be limited, such as for death or personal injury caused by negligence, or for fraud. Otherwise, so far as the law allows, we aren't responsible for indirect or consequential losses, or for decisions you make based on this site or on the report.
8. Links to other sites
This site may link to other websites. We don't control them and aren't responsible for their content or how they handle your information.
9. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales, and the courts of England and Wales have jurisdiction over any dispute.
